About the Role
We are seeking a Design Integrator to join the Wing Plant Engineering Team, supporting continuous product development and incremental improvement projects. This role is pivotal in bridging engineering and operations, ensuring technical solutions meet industrial requirements while maintaining a customer-focused perspective. You will lead improvement projects, manage deliverables to time, cost, and quality, and act as the main interface between engineering and operational teams. The position offers an excellent opportunity to develop technical and leadership skills in a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Take ownership of improvement projects and lead them through the LBIP process, ensuring that technical solutions are delivered right the first time.
- Act as the primary link between Engineering and Operations, promoting co-design solutions that meet industrial system requirements while keeping customer needs at the forefront.
- Drive proactive product improvements aimed at reducing recurring and non-recurring costs, minimizing disruption, and addressing non-conformances.
- Support initiatives that enhance team efficiency and effectiveness through the application of improved methods, tools, and processes.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders and foster collaboration with manufacturing engineering.
