We're recruiting a Manufacturing Engineering Serial Process Engineer to join a leading aerospace production site in the UK. This role sits at the heart of serial production, working closely with Design, Manufacturing Engineering and Shop Floor teams to ensure products are built efficiently, safely and to the highest standards.
The role:
- You'll be responsible for translating engineering intent into clear, robust manufacturing processes.
- This includes creating and maintaining assembly work instructions, supporting live production issues, and managing work preparation activities within SAP.
- You'll also contribute to process improvements, deviation analysis, and the smooth introduction of new parts and design changes into production.
What we're looking for:
- Proven experience in manufacturing engineering, work preparation or industrialisation.
- Strong understanding of assembly and manufacturing processes.
- SAP experience is essential, ideally within manufacturing planning.
- Comfortable supporting production on the shop floor in a fast-paced environment.
- Aerospace or aviation experience is highly desirable, but strong transferable backgrounds will be considered.
