We are seeking a Senior Electronics Design Engineer to join our Advanced Solutions business unit, supporting the development of complex electronic systems across multiple projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop analogue, digital, FPGA, and embedded electronic systems
- Create and validate PCB designs using a “Right First Time” approach
- Develop embedded firmware in C/C++ using STM32 IDE/CubeMX
- Produce technical drawings and engineering documentation for complex systems
- Support fault-finding, diagnostics, testing, and EMC compliance activities
- Provide accurate engineering estimates and contribute to project delivery
- Work closely with customers, suppliers, and multidisciplinary engineering teams
Skills & Experience
- Strong background in Electronics Engineering
- Experience with PCB design tools such as Altium Designer or similar
- Knowledge of VHDL/Verilog and FPGA design
- Embedded software development experience in C/C++
- Experience with SolidWorks Mechanical/Electrical or equivalent CAD tools
- Strong understanding of analogue and digital design principles
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
- Experience with STM32 and embedded firmware development
- Understanding of PLM systems, configuration control, and engineering data management
- Knowledge of mechanical and electrical system integration
- Experience designing for EMC compliance and functional safety standards
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
