Belcan Workforce Solutions is seeking an experienced Design Authoriser to join a dynamic team supporting critical aerospace projects. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on high-profile programmes, delivering innovative engineering solutions that ensure product integrity and operational excellence. As a Design Authoriser, you will play a pivotal role in leading design investigations, approving technical solutions, and ensuring compliance with airworthiness and safety standards. You’ll be part of a fast-paced environment where collaboration and technical leadership are key to success.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead and authorise design solutions for major and minor modifications.
- Provide technical leadership and mentoring to engineering teams.
- Ensure design standards and requirements are met, liaising with multiple stakeholders.
- Operate as a recognised design signatory with industry-approved delegation.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and capability.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience as a Design Authoriser with structural expertise.
- Industry-recognised design signatory delegation (Design Approval/Authorisation).
- Previous aerospace experience – Airbus background highly desirable.
- Ability to deliver on time, cost, and quality while embracing change.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills with an innovative mindset.
Location: Broughton or Filton (Hybrid requirement, 60% onsite minimum).
Contract: Until 31/12/2026, with potential extension.
Hours: 35 per week (flexible within 7am–7pm).
Rate: Up to £52.00 per hour (Umbrella or PAYE equivalent).
Security: BPSS+ clearance required.
