Are you ready to shape the future of aviation? We are looking for 2 Wing Design Engineers to lead structural design excellence and drive innovation in one of the most complex engineering challenges.
What You’ll Do
- Ensure wing structures meet airworthiness and product requirements with uncompromising quality.
- Lead technical studies, trades, and investigations to deliver cutting-edge solutions.
- Drive change management through Mod opening, DFM release, and Stage 3 closure - on time, to cost, and to quality.
- Provide design leadership across internal and external teams, championing Lean Engineering improvements like Right First Time and Lead Time Reduction.
- Govern design & maturity reviews in line with Airbus policies and practices.
What We’re Looking For
- Industry recognised design Airbus signatory status (Design Approval / Authorisation) is essential.
- Proven expertise in Wing Structures and design authorisation.
- Strong track record in delegation, team collaboration, and design approval processes.
- Ability to deliver against Time, Cost, and Quality targets.
- Creative problem-solving and risk management skills.
- Experience influencing complex networks of stakeholders to achieve milestone success.
- Hands-on knowledge of CATIA V5, ICC, Zamiz, ECM, Solings & PASS.
- Essential: Design Authorise Signatory status.
