Belcan Engineering Services is recruiting for an Aerospace Repair Engineer to work within the Repair Team in Bristol. This is a permanent position, initially office-based, moving to a hybrid working pattern once established in the role.

Aircraft Repair Engineering and Customer Service Support for Aircraft Manufacturers, Airlines, and Part 21J organisations is in our DNA. Our team is built upon over 20 years of Aircraft Repair Engineering, heritage designing, analysing, approving, and delivering minor and major primary and secondary structural repairs on behalf of one of the world's largest aircraft OEMs.

The role involves:

  • Working on lightning strike to uncontained rotor failure damage
  • Managing major aircraft repair embodiment programmes covering the entire fleet for large commercial and military aircraft (fixed wing and rotors)
  • Collaborating with a team of dedicated, proactive, forward-thinking, friendly, and experienced design, static, and fatigue engineers

The repair engineer's role would suit a candidate with current or recent fixed wing MRO Technical Services / Airworthiness Engineering experience who has had exposure to communicating with OEMs, compiling structural damage reports, and digesting approved Technical Publications such as SRM, AMM, IPC, MPD, AD, and SBs.
