Our client is seeking an experienced Agent to join a major water infrastructure project. This is an excellent opportunity for a construction professional with strong civil engineering experience to lead site operations, manage subcontractors, and ensure the safe and successful delivery of complex works.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate site activities, supply chain partners, and subcontractors.
- Organise and control systems of work within your allocated discipline.
- Develop project programmes and forecast budgets in collaboration with the Senior Agent.
- Monitor productivity and programme performance, producing weekly and monthly reports.
- Manage contract obligations, measurements, and commercial aspects alongside the commercial team.
- Ensure resources are procured and available to support programme delivery.
- Produce and manage Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), Risk Assessments, and Method Statements.
- Lead quality assurance activities and oversee project handover.
- Identify, manage, and communicate risks, opportunities, change events, and early warnings.
- Maintain accurate project records, site diaries, and resource tracking.
- Lead and promote the highest standards of health, safety, and wellbeing on site.
- Mentor and support engineers and junior site staff, driving performance and development.
Essential Requirements
- EUSR National Water Hygiene Card (mandatory)
- Civil Engineering qualification
- SMSTS certification
- Relevant CSCS Card
- CPCS Appointed Person (Lifting Operations)
- Strong understanding of engineering principles and construction methodologies
- Knowledge of construction contracts and contract law
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
