Location: Holyhead, Wales (onsite)

Contract: Contract until 31/12/2026 (possible extension)

Hours: 40 hours per week | Shift pattern (to be confirmed)

Rate: £46.30 per hour Umbrella / £34.61 per hour PAYE

Security Clearance: BPSS+ (to be completed prior to start)

IR35: Inside IR35

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced Aircraft Electrical Fitter to support maintenance operations on a fleet of rotary aircraft within a military aviation environment. This is a hands-on role working across both line and base maintenance, ensuring aircraft are maintained to the highest safety and performance standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide engineering operational support to flight operations
  • Carry out maintenance inspections and repairs as directed
  • Perform electrical and avionic maintenance in accordance with OEM instructions
  • Work on aircraft systems both on-aircraft and in workshop environments
  • Support aircraft movement and hangar operations, including general housekeeping
  • Ensure compliance with safety and airworthiness standards at all times

Essential Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of aircraft electrical and avionic systems
  • Experience using specialised test equipment for electrical/avionics systems
  • Up-to-date knowledge of:
    • Flight/Airport Operations
    • Aircraft Line Maintenance
    • Aircraft Base Maintenance
  • Completed aircraft maintenance apprenticeship (or equivalent)
  • Proven experience in base maintenance and flight operations

Desirable Skills

  • Knowledge of UK Military Aviation environments
  • Understanding of EASA Part 145 and Part M regulations
  • Experience working on rotary aircraft platforms (e.g. H135/H145)
