Belcan are looking for an Experienced Senior Stress Engineer who can perform Static, Fatigue and FEA analysis tasks for the development of efficient landing gear systems for aircraft to meet demanding customer requirements, on our prestigious client\’s site in Gloucester.

This is an initial 12 month Inside IR35 contract with Hybrid working

As a Senior Stress Engineer, have you?

  • A minimum of HNC/HND level, but ideally BSc/MSc, in an engineering discipline
  • Good working knowledge of aerospace design & manufacturing processes.
  • A good understanding of different engineering functions
  • Experience of working with recognised FEA and fatigue software tools
  • Experience of static and fatigue structural analysis methods
  • Ability to read & interpret engineering drawings
  • Experience working with aerospace materials engineering properties
  • Experience of working to regulatory requirements
  • Experience of working in an IPT environment
