Electrical Functional Designer, Electrical Test Cutting Edge Aerospace Test Rig Development Inside IR35 - 12 month project - Filton, Bristol Onsite for first 8 weeks, then Hybrid working model 3 & 2 days.

Belcan are looking for a Senior Electrical Functional Designer to join a high-impact Test programme, driving the design and development of advanced electrical systems for next generation aerospace test rigs.

What You'll Do Lead the design of electrical systems that power our clients most sophisticated Aerospace test rigs.

Interpret client methodologies, standards, and supplier data to produce robust electrical circuitry and system definitions.

Deliver detailed electrical designs accommodating High & Low voltage variations HV/LV, component-specific needs, and complex system behaviours.

Produce high-quality 2D electrical drawings (principals, wiring diagrams, parts, installations) using Auto CAD.

Manage interfaces between electrics, test structures, and cross-functional systems.

Apply your awareness of manufacturing and installation processes to create designs that work in the real world.

Your Tool kit Auto CAD expertise Strong grasp of Aerospace electrical functional methodologies & processes Proven capability in end to end electrical system design Confident interpreting supplier and client technical data Solid Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Power Point, etc.) Why This Role?
