Our client is seeking an experienced Quality Engineer to join a major infrastructure project based in Reading. This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-driven QC Inspector or Quality Engineer to play a key role in delivering quality assurance on a high-profile, safety-critical site.
Role Overview
As a Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for reviewing and accepting procedures and documentation in line with requirements, ensuring full compliance across all project phases. You will carry out inspections in accordance with approved Inspection Test Plans (ITPs), conduct on-site inspections, and witness testing activities to verify works meet detailed design specifications. Working closely with project teams, the Quality Engineer will support the ongoing review and final acceptance of Lifetime Records (LTRs), ensuring all documentation is accurate, complete, and aligned with regulatory standards. You will also attend site meetings to provide quality input and ensure consistent adherence to project requirements.

- SC Clearance (due to the requirements of this role, all applicants MUST be SC eligible)
- Proven experience in a quality-related role on a major infrastructure project
- Strong civils background with site-based experience
- Ability to read and interpret detailed design drawings and specifications
- Experience conducting on-site inspections against approved designs
- Valid CSCS card
- Proficiency in MS Office
