Belcan Engineering Services is recruiting for an Aerospace Repair Engineer to work within the Repair Team in Bristol. This is a permanent position, initially office-based, moving to a hybrid working pattern once established in the role.
Aircraft Repair Engineering and Customer Service Support for Aircraft Manufacturers, Airlines, and Part 21J organisations is in our DNA. Our team is built upon over 16 years of Aircraft Repair Engineering, heritage designing, analysing, approving, and delivering minor and major primary and secondary structural repairs on behalf of one of the world's largest aircraft OEMs.

Responsibilities include:
- Working on lightning strike to uncontained rotor failure damage and major aircraft repair embodiment programmes covering the entire fleet for large commercial and military aircraft (fixed wing and rotors).
- Collaborating with a team of dedicated, proactive, forward-thinking, friendly, and experienced design, static, and fatigue engineers.
- Communicating with OEMs, compiling structural damage reports, and digesting approved Technical Publications such as SRM, AMM, IPC, MPD, AD, and SBs.
- Constructing Technical Dispositions, Repair Instructions, and writing approval documentation.
- Using Catia V5.
- Applying digital tools to everyday working practices, including coding and Excel macros writing.
- Proactively managing tasks and demonstrating excellent tactical communication skills.
- Handling AOG and short turnaround requests efficiently.
This role is primarily Monday to Friday and based in the Filton, Bristol office. Once familiar in the role and having achieved an appropriate level of delegated signatory, there is the opportunity to move to a hybrid working pattern. There will also be flexibility to undertake weekend working (Saturday and Sunday), providing additional variety and opportunities to support wider team activities.
