We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Lead on a contract basis to manage and coordinate the set-up of a new aerospace MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul) from the UK to a facility abroad for a leading client based at their Buckinghamshire base. As the Senior Project Lead, you will take ownership of delivering a complex, high-value MRO startup project, ensuring it is completed on time, within scope, and to the highest industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of a new MRO facility
- Coordinate cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and suppliers
- Oversee project timelines, budgets, and risk management
- Ensure compliance with aerospace regulations and quality standards
- Provide clear reporting to senior leadership and client stakeholders
Requirements
- Proven experience leading large-scale aerospace or MRO projects
- Strong project management background (contracting experience preferred)
- Ability to manage international projects and multicultural teams
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Willingness to work overseas at certain times during the project and once up and running and settling in.
