Are you a Senior Electronics Design Engineer with Project Experience? Join Belcan, as we are looking for a Senior Electronics Design Engineer and be part of a global leader in engineering consultancy, and take charge of exciting projects that span industrial control systems, automated test equipment, and electro-mechanical innovations, based in Cheltenham.
What You'll Be Doing:
- As a Senior Electronics Design Engineer, you'll be at the heart of our engineering solutions and leading projects from concept to completion and delivering high-performance systems that meet real-world challenges.
- Design and develop electronic systems including FPGA, analogue, and digital circuits.
- Create and support PCB designs (schematic capture, layout, FMEA, component analysis).
- Manage small to medium-sized projects with full lifecycle responsibility.
- Ensure compliance with engineering standards and configuration controls.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and clients to deliver tailored solutions.
- Mentor more Junior Engineers to industry standards for safety critical products.
What You Bring:
- Experience in CAD design (SolidWorks or similar).
- Strong circuit design skills from first principles.
- Familiarity with PLM tools and engineering data management.
