The predicted salary is between 76000 - 80000 € per year.

Location: Filton (minimum 60% onsite)

Contract: Contract until 31/12/2026 (likely extension)

Rate: Up to £52.00 per hour Umbrella / £38.88 per hour PAYE

Working Pattern: 35 hours per week (4.5 days, between 7am-7pm)

Clearance: BPSS (completed by the Client)

IR35: Inside IR35

The Opportunity

Our client is seeking an experienced Repair Engineer / Repair Design Engineer to join a specialist engineering team supporting in-service aircraft structural repairs. This role focuses heavily on composite and structural wing repairs, working on complex repair solutions within a highly regulated aerospace environment. You'll be responsible for evaluating damage, authoring repair solutions, and providing expert engineering support to internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate customer requests related to structural damage on in-service aircraft
  • Author and release Structural Repair Instructions
  • Lead and execute repair activities within a small engineering team
  • Provide expert structural repair support for minor and major damage cases
  • Develop innovative repair solutions using historical repair data and technical expertise
  • Liaise with customers and stakeholders to deliver timely, high-quality repair solutions
  • Support development of generic repair procedures
