The predicted salary is between 46000 - 62000 £ per year.

Location: Broughton (Onsite)

Contract: 12 Month Contract (possible extension)

Hours: 35 Hours per week, worked over 4.5 days (between 7am-7pm, hours agreed by the business)

Rate: £23.00ph PAYE / £30.76ph Umbrella

Overtime: Paid over 35 hours (25% uplift Mon-Fri, 50% Sat-Sun)

Clearance: BPSS (completed by the Client)

IR35: Inside IR35

The Opportunity

Our client is seeking an experienced Production Scheduler to join their Production Planning team at their Broughton site. This role sits at the heart of a multi-functional manufacturing environment and plays a critical role in ensuring production capacity and capability align with commercial delivery requirements. You will work closely with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams to deliver robust production plans, support operational decision-making, and ensure adherence to agreed build schedules.

Key Responsibilities

  • Produce and maintain the Master Production Schedule (MPS) across multiple products
  • Develop and update tactical build plans to optimise short-term production
  • Carry out capacity and resource calculations to ensure workload and workforce alignment
  • Monitor adherence to production plans and ensure feasibility
  • Support recovery planning and scenario analysis
  • Agree and manage planning assumptions with key stakeholders
  • Compile and report key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Continuously refine and optimise production build plans

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience in Production Scheduling or Production Planning
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Confident communicator, both written and verbal
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across functions such as Operations, Logistics, Finance and Engineering
  • A proactive, self-starting approach with the ability to 'hit the ground running'
  • Comfortable using digital tools such as Google Workspace and/or MS Office
  • A working knowledge of Python would be advantageous
