Responsibilities
- Gather, stage, and deliver parts, consumables, hardware, and tools to active maintenance bays.
- Prepare and organise project kits, ensuring materials are allocated correctly to maintenance activities.
- Return and track specialised tooling in line with established procedures.
- Act as a liaison between stores, tooling functions, and maintenance teams to minimise operational delays.
- Maintain clean, organised work bays, benches, tool carts, and storage areas.
- Conduct routine FOD inspections and remove debris from active workspaces.
- Dispose of waste and hazardous materials in accordance with safety and environmental procedures.
- Clean and maintain support equipment such as ladders, maintenance stands, and ground support equipment.
- Support safe and efficient maintenance operations across.
Skills and Experience
- Experience in an industrial, warehouse, automotive, maintenance, or aviation environment.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Good understanding of workplace safety practices, including tool control and FOD awareness.
- Ability to communicate effectively with engineers, technicians, stores teams, and supervisors.
- Capable of working independently and anticipating operational requirements.
- Physically able to stand, walk, bend, and regularly lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
- Experience handling parts, consumables, tools, or inventory within a technical environment.
- Comfortable working within an active hangar or maintenance setting while wearing required PPE.
