Bela Recruitment is currently hiring a Lorry Driver - Class 2 to work from a depot in Strabane, Co. Tyrone, Northern Ireland.

The Company

A great business and team to join, Mon-Fri work, and home for your dinner every evening. Virtually everything you load/unload is done using a hiab crane, training will be provided if not used before.

Responsibilities

  • Working from Strabane depot, you will be delivering plant/machinery across the western half of NI. Could be anything from 2-6 collections/deliveries per day. Not a stressful job!
  • Loading and off-loading products in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Securing all loads correctly for transport & ensuring the lorry & driver complies with all road safety laws / requirements and conduct daily lorry safety checks.
  • Deliver equipment to client sites and unload in the correct location.
  • Ensuring delivery paperwork is signed and all equipment accounted for.
  • Ensure you follow all Company & Industry Health & Safety rules, and PPE is worn at all times.
  • Good geographical knowledge of NI, SatNav is provided.
  • Must have the ability to professionally communicate at all times with colleagues, customers and members of the public.

Virtually all Mon-Fri work, day shift hours.

Requirements

  • Must have a minimum of 1-2 years Class 2 driving experience and ideally over 25 for insurance.
  • Class 2 licence – No more than 6 points.
  • Full CPC Training.
  • Legally allowed to work in the UK - No Visa Sponsorships.
