Bela Recruitment is hiring a Quantity Surveyor to work from the Dungannon area, Tyrone area of Northern Ireland.

Salary: £35,000 - £42,000. Vehicle and great perks included.

Projects are in Northern Ireland, with a huge volume of secured works over the next few decades. Immediate interviews and start date available.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare pricing for all upcoming and completed jobs and commercial functions on projects.
  • Gather accurate costings from site staff, sub-contractors, and IT systems to ensure accurate billing.
  • Identify variants, investigate, and ensure pricing is accurate and explainable.
  • Report on completed works on a weekly and monthly basis.
  • Analyse progress and financials, including risks or concerns on a regular basis to management, customers, or site managers.
  • Ensure all project spending is in accordance with tender prices submitted.
  • Liaise between site staff, management/directors, and the client on a regular basis.
  • Ensure compliance with all contracts on costs, ISO standards, and company health and safety.

Requirements:

  • Ideally 2-4 years of Quantity Surveying experience.
  • Strong financial reporting experience and excellent documentation management.
  • A relevant 3rd level construction qualification in Quantity Surveying or related degree.
  • Open to applicants still completing a Higher Level Apprenticeship/University and needing 1 day off per week for school.
  • Excellent organizational, planning, and contract management skills.
  • Strong presentation, reporting, and communication skills.
  • Driving License & able to visit sites across NI as required.
