Bela Recruitment is hiring a Stores & Installation Operative in the Newtownabbey area, Northern Ireland.
Job Responsibilities:
- Support the company’s warehousing operations by assembling orders or building products for delivery.
- Take stock in/out of the warehouse.
- Order picking for clients.
- General warehousing duties.
- Deliveries in a 3.5Ton Van.
- Fitting and assembly of a range of storage equipment on customer premises.
This is not a difficult role, but candidates need to have some form of warehousing experience, ideally with experience using tool kits, possibly from a trade background or good at DIY. Most delivery and install work is within a 25-mile radius of Belfast.
Requirements:
- Technical ability, able to read measurements and numbers accurately.
- Strong customer service skills, able to interact with customers at their premises in a professional manner.
- Physically fit and able to carry and install storage solutions (it comes in parts).
- Able to work as part of a team and meet deadlines.
- Experience using power tools such as drills or cutting equipment.
- Full clean UK driving license.
- GCSEs in English & Maths, Grade C or above or equivalent.
- Experience driving a 3.5T van (think big Transit or Sprinter).
Rewards:
- Salary £25,000 - £30,000
- Working hours: 7am-4pm or 8am-5pm, some flexibility available.
- Occasional Saturday work or later evening work is paid at time and a half (x1.5) or can be Time in Lieu.
