Bela Recruitment is currently seeking a Yard Person with Welding Skills to work in Lisburn, Northern Ireland.
This is a cracking job for someone with previous yard experience and could do light maintenance. Immediate interviews and immediate start dates are available for the right person. This equipment-hire business offers unique products and services to a vast array of construction clients across the province. Responsibilities:
- You will take ownership of all yard duties, driving a forklift to load and unload all rental equipment.
- Ensure the yard is kept tidy, equipment is stored securely, and any repairs/welding are carried out immediately before equipment is sent out on hire again.
- Cleaning equipment when returned from hire, ready for the next rental.
Requirements:
- Minimum 1-year previous yard work experience and some welding ability or willingness to learn.
- Must hold a valid forklift licence and have experience using it in a commercial setting.
- Able to ensure a clean, tidy, safe, and secure working yard at all times.
- Ability to work independently.
- Must be able to record all activity of goods in/out, damage, and add to an IT system in the office.
- Friendly, professional, can-do attitude.
- Might suit someone from a Warehousing, Labouring, Farming, Builders Merchant, Tool Hire background, working in a yard or with plant/equipment.
