Bela Recruitment is hiring a Health & Safety Auditor to work across Northern Ireland & Ireland. Salary £50,000 - £70,000+ or Euro Equivalent.

Location: There are a number of depots you could be chosen to work from.

VISA: No visa sponsorships or on restricted visa status considered, must be able to work in NI & ROI. Immediate interviews and start dates are available.

The Company: A well-established, secure & growing company, with strong companywide HSEQ policies & practices. This is a role working across NI and ROI regions, conducting HSEQ Audits on sites and supporting regional teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Support NI & ROI, regional HSEQ teams and wider business, with ensuring world class standards and compliance are maintained across all ISO standards.
  • Conduct audits, identify non-compliance, support improvements and wider group teams.
  • In conjunction with regional HSEQ staff, perform site inspections, ensuring compliance and best practices among all staff and sub-contractors.
  • Ensure risk assessments are actioned and reported to the highest standards, liaise with statutory authorities, subcontractors and customers and provide detailed reports.
  • Ensure subcontractors HSEQ compliance & documentation is correct, advise on best practice and areas for improvements.
  • Work with HSEQ teams, clients and wider operational teams to drive best in class processes.
  • Promote a strong HSEQ culture across the whole business.

Requirements:

  • 5-10 years of HSEQ experience, ideally gained in construction, civils or utilities sectors.
  • Willingness and ability to work across sites in NI and ROI supporting regional teams.
  • Excellent knowledge of ISO standards & compliance, with ability to embed a culture of compliance.
  • Experience conducting audits, best practice implementation and working with staff & sub-contractors to achieve HSEQ goals.
  • Degree in an HSEQ related subject and/or NEBOSH qualification and commitment to continuous learning.
  • Strong IT skills, reporting presentation, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Driving Licence, willing and able to travel to sites across NI & ROI.
