Bela Recruitment is hiring a Finance Manager for one of the most advanced manufacturing companies in Northern Ireland.
You must already be living in Northern Ireland and can drive to Downpatrick, we are not intersted in people needing sponsored, on time-restricted visa\’s or doing a random relocation
The Job
You will be responsible for several key finance functions – Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, Fixed Assets. You will also manage Cashflow Management and Forecasting while ensuring statutory compliance – PAYE, VAT, Corporation Tax, R&D Tax, Customs, Plastic Packaging Tax etc.
This whole finance department has over 40 staff, many of whom specialize in specific financial duties for the wider group. This is a well-resourced and skilled team, with investment in the best software and training for all.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Planning and Analysis – Developing budgets, forecasts, and financial models to support business objectives
- Financial Reporting – Preparing accurate and timely financial statements
- Business Partnering – Collaborating with department heads, to provide financial insights and support decision-making processes that drive business performance.
- Compliance and Governance – Ensuring adherence to financial regulations and standards, including tax compliance and internal controls.
About You
- Degree educated in an Accounting or Finance subject.
- Strong understanding of financial functions management as listed above.
- Strong financial regulations, standards and laws knowledge.
- Great people skills, ability to manage and lead a team.
- Ideally experience of finance in manufacturing setting.
- Knowledge of finance processes in an ERP system.
