Bela Recruitment is hiring a Health & Safety Officer to work from the Dungannon / Portadown, Tyrone area of Northern Ireland. Salary – £30,000 - £35,000+. Location – Dungannon / Armagh / Portadown area. Immediate interviews and start dates are available.

You will provide vital Administration or Officer type support across Health, Safety and Environmental needs, to ensure business compliance. A wonderful opportunity for anyone keen to progress a career in Health & Safety, this might suit a super organised Administration or experienced H&S Administrator or Officer.
Responsibilities:
- Arrange weekly meetings for the business, record minutes, update systems and share minutes.
- Conduct company HSE audits, reporting non-conformance and quality issues.
- Support/conduct inductions for new starts & contractors, conduct manual handling training, ensure training records are kept updated & accurate at all times.
- Conduct data gathering & ensure critical tasks are completed on-time, fleet checks, stores audits, tender tracking, plant register – training will be provided.
- Compiling & maintaining sub-contractor documentation related to HSEQ.
- Assisting in incident reports.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2-3 years H&S experience in a commercial setting such as construction, factory, or utility, but open to other experience & ideally a H&S qualification.
- Experience in document control and updating databases.
- Proven ability to follow company processes, support a wider team and meet deadlines.
- Must have good Microsoft skills across Word & Excel.
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills.
- Must be able to learn new processes, complete tasks on time and eventually work independently.
- Driving Licence required.
