Overview
Bela Recruitment is hiring a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Specialist for one of the most advanced manufacturing companies in Northern Ireland.
The Job
As part of a large and highly skilled IT team, the Business Central Specialist will support and enhance the company’s Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Platform with a specific focus on manufacturing operations and accounts payable automation using Continia Document Capture or similar tools. You’ll play a central role in improving operational efficiency by optimizing system functionality across procurement, production, finance, and compliance workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead & support all Business Central configuration and enhancements across several departments.
- Collaborate with finance and operations teams to streamline processes.
- Drive improvements and integrations between Business Central and third-party solutions e.g. warehouse or quality tools.
- Translate business requirements into functional and technical solutions.
- Support configuration of manufacturing-specific features – batch tracking, lot management, shelf-life control and traceability.
- Customize workflows, reports and dashboards to reflect production and regulatory KPI’s.
- Deliver user training, documentation and change management to new features or processes.
- Troubleshoot user issues and integrated systems.
- Monitor data integrity, system performance and support routine updates and maintenance.
- Assist with finance operations support, including Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable, General Ledger and Cost Accounting as it relates to ERP configurations.
About You
- 3+ years’ experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central OR NAV in manufacturing.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing workflows (ideally in food, but will consider others), such as production orders, inventory management, quality control, compliance etc.
- Experience with Continia Document Capture or similar tools for Accounts Payable invoice processing and automation.
- Knowledge of finance processes in an ERP system.
- Experience of ERP systems in manufacturing.
- Proficiency in MS tools – Excel, Power BI and Power Platform.
