Bela Recruitment is hiring a Purchasing Officer to work in Dungannon, Northern Ireland. The Company is a secure, stable and growing business. Join a team where you won't need to haggle on price with suppliers, simply monitor stock levels and orders from suppliers to ensure appropriate levels of stock are maintained to meet customer needs.
Responsibilities:
- Raise purchase orders for products & materials with suppliers.
- Maintain procurement database, while supporting Buyers with admin duties.
- Build relationships with internal & external suppliers and customer service team to understand business requirements.
- Spot any potential issues with orders around lead time/delivery and notify correct colleagues.
- Gather information from database to share with colleagues on stock levels.
Requirements:
- Ideally previous purchasing, buying or supply chain experience.
- Experience raising purchasing orders, invoice resolution and getting quotes for orders.
- Good experience using Microsoft Office including Excel.
- Strong administration skills, attention to detail and good basic maths skills.
- Great communication skills and professional attitude.
