Situated in the heart of Kingsclere, a village between Newbury and Basingstoke, with a significant refurbishment planned, this is a great opportunity for someone to make an immediate impact! With 9 cosy bedrooms, a fantastic bar, restaurant and courtyard garden, it's known locally for its excellent food and warm welcome. The site benefits from tourists visiting the area due to its proximity to Highclere Castle, known for being the home of the Crawley family in Downton Abbey.

The new General Manager must be the face of the business with exceptional customer service skills, whilst also possessing the ability to adapt to the seasonal trends and the peaks in the business. The drive to get out and about and push sales further in both the corporate and leisure market is also a must. We are looking for a General Manager who has a proven track record executing large events and experience of juggling multiple revenue streams in a multifaceted business.
