The Finance General team manages the planning and direction of finance processes and activities. Activities include the efficient operation and cost-effectiveness of operating systems and programs.
This is a high-impact role supporting the decision-making process within the Cash and Credit Risk Management team. The Senior Finance Analyst supports credit risk oversight, manages insurance processes and ensures compliance with the credit policy across the UK and Ireland markets. In addition to operational responsibilities, the role requires critical thinking, strong communication, and the ability to influence stakeholders.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Review and approve customer credit limits and master data (up to €100K).
- Support month-end close and audit processes for UK & Ireland.
- Manage overdue accounts, payment plans, and bad debt mitigation.
- Liaise with insurance brokers and handle claims, trackers, and premium payments.
- Act as primary contact for sales teams and small/medium trade partners.
- Handle escalations from SSC (shared services center) and review exceptional credit requests.
- Troubleshoot SAP order flow issues and prepare key reports (UK blocked orders, SFI files).
- Back up the Finance Manager and respond quickly to risky accounts.
Minimum requirements:
- At least 4-5 years of experience in Finance.
- Fluency in English.
- SAP knowledge.
- Good level of Excel.
- Soft Skills: Negotiation, handling difficult conversations, influencing others.
Preferred skills and experiences:
- Experience in cash and credit processes is an asset.
- SAP Hana and Power BI/BI/BW knowledge is a plus.
