You will be part of the Operations function within the Home Delivery & Installation team, supporting a market-leading logistics network across Beko UK & Ireland. The team is responsible for delivering high standards of home delivery, appliance installation, transport compliance, customer experience, and operational safety across a national depot and warehouse network. This role works closely with operational leaders, depot managers, drivers, warehouse colleagues, and the wider training function.

The Logistics Trainer is responsible for developing, delivering, and administering training programmes across the Home Delivery & Installation network to ensure colleagues are fully skilled, compliant, and able to perform safely and effectively. The role combines classroom-based and practical training across driving, installation, warehouse handling, and compliance, supporting business growth through high-quality capability development.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Deliver theoretical and practical training programmes across LGV / lorry driving, white goods delivery, manual handling, customer care, appliance installation, and forklift truck operations.
  • Train colleagues on safe driving standards, legal driving restrictions and working time regulations, vehicle checks, and transport compliance requirements.
  • Coach teams on correct unloading methods, safe handling of goods, and preventing damage to products, customer property, and flooring during delivery.
  • Assess drivers and warehouse colleagues through ride-alongs, observations, coaching sessions, and formal competency assessments.
  • Provide training on installation processes, including mechanical and basic engineering aspects of appliance connection and fitting.
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety, environmental, quality, and customer service standards across all training activity.
  • Travel regularly across the UK&I depot network (12 depots including Manchester) and other warehouse and HQ sites to deliver training and support operational teams.
  • Maintain training records, competency matrices, refresher schedules, and all associated administration.

Minimum requirements:

  • Proven driving or transport operations background, with strong knowledge of LGV / lorry regulations, driver restrictions, and road transport compliance.
  • Experience delivering practical and classroom-based training within logistics, warehouse, transport, or operational environments.
  • Full UK driving license and willingness to travel extensively across multiple depot and warehouse locations.

Preferred skills and experiences:

  • Recognised training qualification (e.g., Train the Trainer, instructional coaching, or equivalent).
  • Forklift Truck (FLT) training or assessment experience.
  • Experience in home delivery, white goods installation, or two-person delivery operations.
  • Knowledge of mechanical or engineering principles relevant to appliance installation.
  • Ideally based in a central UK location with easy access to Tamworth, Raunds and Peterborough, and willing to travel regularly to all sites, including Manchester.
