Senior Quantity Surveyor / Quantity Surveyor sought to join an established and growing construction management business overseeing schemes across Cornwall. We are seeking a commercially astute Senior Quantity Surveyor / Quantity Surveyor, delivering prestigious projects valued up to £5m+ across the region utilising JCT forms of contract.

Day to day, you will take responsibility for the commercial management of projects from procurement through to final account, ensuring effective cost control, contractual compliance, and successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing the commercial function across multiple projects
  • Tendering, procurement, and subcontractor management
  • Valuations, variations, and final accounts
  • Monthly cost reporting and cash flow forecasting
  • Managing contractual obligations and commercial risk
  • Supporting and mentoring junior team members

Requirements:

  • Commercial Management / Quantity Surveying qualification
  • Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor
  • Main contractor experience preferred
  • Experience delivering projects up to £5m
  • Strong commercial and communication skills
  • Cost control experience would be highly advantageous

In return, we are offering a competitive salary (Circa £50,000 - £65,000) plus package including car allowance, 25 days annual leave, and various further benefits while working regionally across Cornwall.
