Purpose and Mission

We are looking for a Maintenance Process Engineer to play a key role in improving plant reliability, reducing downtime and increasing OEE at our Bradford site. In this role, you will work closely with Production, Maintenance and Leadership teams to eliminate root causes of breakdowns, improve process capability and drive continuous improvement across our manufacturing operations.

Key Activities and Responsibilities

  • Drive OEE, reliability and process stability improvements across production areas
  • Analyse downtime, scrap and performance data to identify losses and improvement opportunities
  • Lead root cause analysis (RCA/FMEA) and implement sustainable corrective actions
  • Act as a technical authority for electrical, controls and automation systems
  • Improve preventative and predictive maintenance strategies
  • Support production teams with structured engineering problem-solving
  • Lead and support CAPEX, automation and energy efficiency projects
  • Ensure compliance with HSE, PUWER and electrical safety standards

Skills

  • Degree / HNC / HND in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics or similar
  • Experience in a manufacturing or heavy industrial environment
  • Strong knowledge of PLCs (Siemens / Allen-Bradley), drives and control systems
  • Experience with automated production lines and data-driven improvement
