Purpose and Mission

Deliver high‑quality rope inspection, maintenance, and associated service activities across our expanding European operations. Provide clear technical reporting, defect identification, and recommendations to support asset integrity and safe operations. Represent the company professionally on client sites, maintaining strong safety culture and customer focus at all times.

Key Activities and Responsibilities

  • Rope inspection
  • Rope installation, replacement and removal
  • Splicing and socketing support
  • Rope handling, reeving and tensioning
  • Execute work according to approved procedures, standards and work instructions
  • Ensure correct use of tools, equipment and materials
  • Creation of Risk Assessments and Method Statements
  • On‑site supervision (where necessary)

Skills

  • Follow all HSE policies, customer site rules and permit‑to‑work systems
  • Perform job risk assessments, toolbox talks and safety briefings
  • Always use PPE and safety equipment correctly
  • Stop work and escalate in case of unsafe conditions
  • Act as a safety role model on site
  • Strong safety mindset
  • Comfortable working independently in the field
  • Strong knowledge of steel wire rope construction, failure modes and inspection criteria
  • Experience with relevant inspection standards (e.g. ISO, EN, OEM guidelines)
  • Must be willing and able to obtain and maintain valid offshore survival certification (e.g., BOSIET or GWO) and the associated fitness‑to‑work medical required for offshore travel
  • Trained in the use and maintenance of spoolers and winches
  • Rope Access to level 3

Previous Experience

  • Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in steel wire rope inspection
  • Rigging, hoisting or asset integrity services
  • Field experience in offshore, mining, industrial, port, offshore or heavy industry environments
  • Experience working under permit‑to‑work and site safety regimes
