A little bit about the role: As Pion’s B2B Webflow site is a key asset in our sales cycle, we need a Design Engineer to take sole ownership, update it daily, and continuously improve its performance and SEO.
Responsibilities
- Sole Ownership of Webflow Development: Take full ownership of the B2B website. Design, build, and launch new pages and experiences for the primary company website, ensuring all work is done exclusively within the Webflow platform.
- Daily Site Maintenance & Optimisation: Ensure the B2B site is constantly updated, performing flawlessly, and responsive to immediate business needs. This includes daily quality assurance and content updates (optimising the self‑serve journey).
- AEO/GEO Improvement: Actively implement on‑page SEO (AEO/GEO) strategies, technical SEO improvements, and performance enhancements to boost site visibility and organic ranking.
- Design System & Fidelity: Translate high‑fidelity mockups (e.g., from Figma) into pixel‑perfect, responsive, and cross‑browser compatible Webflow pages.
- AI Integration & Workflow: Actively prototype and implement AI design tools (e.g., image generation, content structuring, design system acceleration) to enhance creative output, speed, and efficiency of the design process.
- Emergency Response: Be available to resolve critical site issues and emergencies promptly to maintain sales cycle effectiveness.
Requirements
- 3‑5 years of hands‑on experience in a Web Design, UX/UI, or Design Engineering role.
- Expert proficiency in Webflow (design, development, CMS, and interactions).
- Strong foundation in web design principles, including responsive design, typography, and visual hierarchy.
- Proven ability to write and understand clean, semantic HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (even if primarily working visually in Webflow).
- Experience using AI design tools (Figma‑Make, MidJourney) for ideation, asset creation, or workflow enhancement.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with keen attention to detail.
