About the role
We’re searching for a
Multimedia Editor-in-Chief to lead and scale Be In Crypto’s global video presence across You Tube, X, Tik Tok, Instagram, and emerging media platforms.
We’re looking for a credible editorial voice with a strong background in finance, crypto or business media — someone who understands the industry deeply, has meaningful connections within the ecosystem, and can turn complex market narratives into engaging, high-performing video content.
Success in this role requires both editorial authority and industry credibility — you should already understand the key players, narratives, and dynamics shaping crypto and financial markets.
What you’ll do
- Lead Be In Crypto’s end-to-end multimedia editorial strategy across long-form and short-form content.
- Host interviews, analysis videos, and industry conversations with confidence and strong editorial presence.
- Own the video editorial calendar and align it with market trends, product priorities, and audience demand.
- Develop story angles, scripts, hooks, and video concepts optimized for retention and audience growth.
- Work hands-on with editors, designers, and social media teams to deliver high-performing content.
- Identify viral moments and shape short-form clips for You Tube Shorts, Instagram Reels, Tik Tok, and X.
- Build relationships with founders, researchers, investors, and key voices across crypto and traditional finance.
- Drive growth in watch time, retention, engagement, and subscriber growth through data-driven content strategy.
You are the perfect match if you
- Have 4+ years of experience in financial journalism, crypto media, business media, or creator-led finance content.
- Have a strong understanding of crypto, blockchain, financial markets, and the broader fintech ecosystem.
- Bring an existing network of founders, investors, analysts, researchers, or media contacts within crypto, Web3, or traditional finance.
- Have experience hosting, producing, or leading video-first editorial content across You Tube, podcasts, interviews, or social platforms.
- Combine editorial thinking with hands-on execution — you are comfortable both shaping strategy and creating content yourself.
- Understand what performs across You Tube, Tik Tok, Instagram, and X, and can adapt content formats accordingly.
- Are fluent in English.
Nice to have
- Experience moderating panels, hosting live discussions, or representing brands publicly.
- Personal audience presence on You Tube, X, Linked In, or newsletters.
- Strong understanding of You Tube optimization, thumbnails, hooks, and retention strategy.
What we offer to you
- 100% remote work with no location restrictions.
- Flexible working hours with no time tracking and no mandatory meetings outside your timezone.
- Paid time off to recharge.
- Opportunities to build your personal brand through speaking engagements, podcasts, conferences, and media appearances.
- Access to major crypto and fintech events around the world.
