We are looking for a part time Team Leader in our Family Time contact service working 2 days per week on a Thursday and Friday who can line manage a team of family time contact workers ensuring that services are effectively delivered in accordance with referrals and vulnerable children’s care plans and service guidelines.
You will support the Team and Service manager and engage with social workers and foster carers to ensure that practice standards, recording and statutory duties are carried out within specific timescales.
You will have experience of working with vulnerable children in care and under assessment within a court arena and knowledge of legislation around this.
You will ideally have first line management experience, budget management and rota planning and knowledge of safeguarding issues and procedures with at least two years knowledge of working in a social services setting, ideally with a level 3 NVQ/QCF in childrens care or equivalent.

Full-time employees work 37 hours for 52 weeks of the year and we offer a generous holiday entitlement.

If you are appointed to this role, your starting salary will be at the bottom of the grade.
If you provide payslip evidence that your basic pay is greater than the bottom of the grade, we will consider starting you at the point of minimum advantage within the grade.
