We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated Support Managers in Home First Community to lead a team delivering high-quality home support services to adults with short-term reablement needs. One post is permanent and the other is temporary for 12 months. In this role, you will play a vital part in helping people maintain independence and remain safely in their own homes through a flexible, person-centred approach.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Leading and managing a team of Support Workers to deliver safe, responsive and high-quality care
- Overseeing support plans tailored to individuals, including those with complex or changing needs
- Ensuring services meet and exceed regulatory standards and best practice
- Managing resources effectively to support efficient service delivery
- Driving performance, quality assurance, and continuous improvement
- Working collaboratively with partners and multidisciplinary teams
- Supporting service development and contributing to strategic planning
- Providing cover for other Support Managers and attending key meetings when required
What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking someone who can bring strong leadership and a passion for delivering excellent care outcomes. You will have:
- Experience managing or supervising staff in a social care setting
- Experience supporting adults with complex needs
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Knowledge of social care frameworks and regulatory standards (e.g. CQC)
- Ability to manage resources effectively and drive performance
- Excellent communication and partnership working skills
- Confidence in using IT systems to support service delivery
- UK driving license (this is not essential; however, this post requires you to work with staff in the community across the city of Sheffield)
Qualification: NVQ Level 4 (or equivalent) in Health & Social Care, or willingness to work towards it.

Full-time employees work 37 hours for 52 weeks of the year and we offer a generous holiday entitlement.
