Responsibilities include coordinating, writing, and delivering high quality, holistic EHC plans for children and young people with SEND (0-25 years) in accordance with the Children & Families Act 2014 and the SEND Code of Practice. Manage own caseload and provide ongoing support to parents and schools to ensure educational provision remains appropriate throughout the learner's time in provision. Act as main point of contact for parents, schools and other agencies involved with a child/young person with SEN. Provide information and advice on statutory SEN processes to schools, parents and other agencies. Attend multi‑agency and statutory meetings such as Annual Reviews of a child/young person's Education Health and Care Plan.

Qualifications include an understanding of or experience of working with children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities in an educational setting. Strong communication skills and a proven ability to manage large caseloads within tight deadlines and legal timescales, and embrace change. Excellent written English and organisational skills. Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful situations and experience working in multi‑agency settings. Desirable knowledge of the statutory assessment process and annual reviews.

Benefits and Working Conditions: Full‑time employees work 37 hours per week for 52 weeks a year with a generous holiday entitlement. Flexible working opportunities are available, including reduced‑hour contracts, part time, or job sharing. Salary is at the bottom of the grade unless evidence of a higher basic pay is provided.
