The predicted salary is between 12 - 15 £ per hour.
We currently have two casual zero hours vacancies at Montgomery Terrace Road children's home which is operational 24hrs a day, 365 days per year, providing essential day-to-day care to our vulnerable children. As a casual worker, once inducted and trained you will work on a rota pattern according to the needs of the home and therefore you will need to be flexible with the ability to work shifts and any out of hours that may be required which may include weekends, bank holidays and sleeping in. Out of hours payments will be paid at enhanced rates.
As an Assistant Residential Child Care Practitioner, you will play a crucial part in providing life-changing support, enabling children to thrive and have the best life chances. You will have experience of working with vulnerable children, be resilient and able to deal with challenging behaviour. You will be able to formulate care plans and risk assessments and have a good understanding of child and emotional development, supporting children to recover from childhood trauma, abuse or neglect. You will need to be IT competent with the ability to update electronic records.
