Are you looking for valuable experience in an EPS with a view to eventually training as an Educational Psychologist (EP)? This is an exciting time to join Sheffield Educational Psychology Service, as we are expanding rapidly. We are looking to develop a substantial team of Assistant EPs to work in partnership with qualified EPs and develop new ways of working. This will include working in a multidisciplinary team to support schools and the continued development of a collaborative and person-centred model for carrying out Education Health and Care Needs Assessments.

Our Assistant EP team will:
- Assist the Educational Psychology Service in developing a collaborative model to support psychological assessments for Education, Health and Care Needs Assessments (EHCNAs), working in partnership with qualified EPs. This will include drafting reports and other written feedback for and with EPs.
- Support the delivery of core services to schools.
- Undertake a range of assessment and intervention services related to special educational needs.
- Deliver training for schools, families and others.
- Develop a range of experience and skills in preparation for training as an Educational Psychologist.
- Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to support schools.

If you are appointed to this role, your starting salary will be at the bottom of the grade. If you provide payslip evidence that your basic pay is greater than the bottom of the grade, we will consider starting you at the point of minimum advantage within the grade.
