We’re looking for a skilled and motivated Project Manager to help deliver the ambitions set out in “Our Vision for the Valley” — a community‑created plan that defines a bold, long‑term programme for homes in Gleadless Valley. This is a unique opportunity to play a central role in a high‑profile, community‑led regeneration programme that will transform homes, improve sustainability, and support a thriving neighbourhood.
About the Role: You’ll lead on complex regeneration projects, driving forward delivery of residential refurbishment, renewable energy solutions, and emerging green initiatives. Working at pace, you’ll collaborate with residents, partners, and colleagues across council portfolios to turn the Vision into reality. You’ll work closely with other project leads to deliver cross‑cutting benefits, including employment, skills and training, ensuring regeneration creates real opportunities for the community. This role requires a proactive, self‑directed approach, using initiative and strong problem‑solving skills to navigate challenges, balance competing priorities, and keep delivery on track.

If you are appointed to this role, your starting salary will be at the bottom of the grade. If you provide payslip evidence that your basic pay is greater than the bottom of the grade, we will consider starting you at the point of minimum advantage within the grade.
