General Description: Reporting to the Franchise Head, Haematology UK and Ireland, the Front Line Sales Manager (FLSM) is responsible for maximising the performance of BeOne’s products across the UK and Ireland. The FLSM implements the marketing and sales strategy and is responsible for achieving defined sales targets being supported by defined resources and investment budgets. The FLSM is further responsible for the individual coaching and development of her/his commercial team.
Essential Functions of the job:
- Build an image/brand and awareness for BeOne and its products in the haematology market
- Establish strong relationships and future-oriented collaborations with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and key accounts
- Prepare the commercial market for the approval of BeOne’s future products in haematology
- Implement marketing strategies for existing and upcoming launches in the haematology market
- Achieve national commercial goals and defined performance parameters
- Regional budget planning and monitoring
- Define basic sales goals and regular commercial analysis of our markets
- Determine individual developmental needs/strengths of her/his commercial team members and execute individualised development, training and coaching
- Scientific expert advice and support of KOLs in hospitals
- Cross-functional collaboration across the matrix team
- Inform management of any market changes/competitor activities which are relevant to strategy implementation and development
- Supervise and monitor development and implementation of key account plans
- Work closely with marketing to establish, measure and exceed field force effectiveness standards
- Partner closely with Medical, Marketing and Market Access to ensure alignment on strategy
- Participate in National and International scientific meetings, symposia and workshops.
- Provide exceptional leadership, fostering an environment to drive high performance, engagement, accountability, empowerment, and behaviours fully consistent with BeOne’s values and culture
- Foster a leadership culture which attracts, develops and retains candidates, create effective internal communication and foster teamwork
- Establish strong relationships and act as BeOne’s ‘face’ with all customers and stakeholders in the field of hematology, supporting the organisation in achieving its goals and objectives
- Drive business decisions whereby patient care is at the center of the business conduct.
- Ensure team compliance across all areas to maintain the highest standards of patients focused ethical conduct in line with our values
- Consistently ensure operating in accordance with BeOne’s Standards of conduct and all applicable local laws and regulations
Qualifications:
- University undergraduate degree in science or business
- At least 10 years of relevant industry experience
- 5 years of prior experience as a commercial leader or Front Line Sales Manager preferred
- Specific knowledge and experience in the hematology market / knowledge in the field of Lymphomas is highly desirable
- Demonstrated success in a small but fast growing, entrepreneurial commercial environment
- High social competence and capacity for teamwork
- Highly motivated, solution oriented and a positive attitude
- Success-, service-, and sales-oriented thinking and working
- Exceptional communication and thought leadership
- Confident manner, good customer acceptance due to medical and scientific expertise
- Enjoys working in a commercial team and doing project work as well as networking
- Makes things happen: has the right level of implementation skills
- Valid driver’s license
Supervisory Responsibilities: National/regional sales team consisting of Key Account Managers (KAMs). Responsible for hiring, supervising and developing the team.
Education Required: University undergraduate degree in science or business as a minimum; At least 10 years of relevant industry experience
Computer Skills: Standard Computer Skills required (MS Office)
Other Qualifications: Fluency in both verbal and written English
Travel: Approximately 60% of time
Salary Range UK: 96,600.00 GBP - 120,800.00 GBP
