The Demand Planner ensures the right products are available at the right time by forecasting demand and managing supply into the warehouse. The role focuses on using data and market insight to plan stock levels, support customer demand, and maintain good product availability while avoiding excess stock.
Your Tasks
- Demand Planning
- Create and review accurate demand forecasts using sales data and market information
- Lead monthly forecast review meetings to agree plans with Sales and Logistics
- Monitor forecast accuracy and improve planning over time
- Supply Planning
- Identify and communicate supply risks early using alert‑based planning
- Work with suppliers to ensure stock arrives on time
- Plan new product launches to maximise availability and reduce waste
- Set appropriate safety stock levels to balance availability and inventory
- Act as supply chain lead for the brand, working with teams to improve efficiency and reduce costs
Your Profile
- Experience in demand planning or a related planning role
- Comfortable working with data and identifying patterns to support planning decisions
- Ability to share information and agree outcomes, using clear and structured communication
- Experience working with different stakeholders, with support and clear expectations where needed
- Experience using SAP and Excel (advanced features helpful but not essential)
- Experience with OMP is an advantage but not required
