Your Tasks

  • The Field Retail Merchandiser delivers in-store excellence in execution adhering to Beiersdorf’s key principles of ‘The Perfect Store’.
  • Working across our key brands of Nivea, Elastoplast and Eucerin you will deliver increased visibility and merchandising through the implementation of off shelf displays.
  • You will report on in store findings to various stakeholders and ensure that all KPI’s are delivered through continuous improvement.

Execution

  • To ensure in store compliance and execution KPI’s are met through delivering increased intervention values and maximising opportunities.
  • Maintaining a call file of stores, building relationships with key contacts facilitating improved in store plans that benefit Beiersdorf (e.g FOS displays).
  • Interacting with key stakeholders in the business to ensure a full communication flow ensuring clarity on strategic priorities, retailer objectives and PICOS.
  • Monitoring of stock levels and taking actions such as correcting book stock errors.
  • Feeding back on promotions to ensure compliance in store.
  • Delivery of monthly and annual intervention value translating to Net Sales value by retailer, reporting on progress.
  • To ensure that all tools and systems in place e.g Trax are utilised.
  • Full understanding of each retailers’ expected standards of performance and conduct within store.
  • To promote the company image by always correctly representing Beiersdorf’s core values to all customers.

Reporting

  • Input all interventions at a store level to ensure full value is captured.
  • Feedback to Regional Field Operations Manager on interventions delivered in store.
  • Report back to National Account Managers on any compliance issues in store for their retailer.
  • Regularly report on any competitor activities.
  • Completion of Trax in all store.

Your Profile

  • Previous field sales experience desirable.
  • Live within a commutable distance to Essex.
  • The role would suit an individual from a retail or sales background.
  • Good organisational and planning skills.
  • Relationship building.
  • Resilient.
  • Commercial awareness.
  • You must be able to drive.
