Are you ready to dive into the world of cutting-edge video game development? Headquartered in Montreal, Behaviour Interactive is at the forefront of the gaming industry, crafting unforgettable experiences across PC, console, and mobile platforms. We are a dynamic, independent studio of over 1200 passionate employees, with studios in Toronto, Rotterdam and in the UK. Our day to day revolves around two core business focuses: Services and Original Games.

This position requires you to be in the office of Middlesbrough a few days a week. Behaviour is looking for a talented Game Designer intern to actively participate in the development of a new videogame. In this role, you will use your creative and technical skills, in collaboration with members of other disciplines, to shape the design tools on this cutting-edge product attached to an exciting brand, in development with a renowned external partner.

To be considered for this internship, you must:

  • Be able to work 37.5 hours/week for 3 months starting January 2026
  • Be eligible to work FULL TIME in the UK at the time of your application

In this role you will:

  • Provide clear and detailed documentation to the design team.
  • Follow the production pipeline of features, applying guidelines and best practices.
  • Develop game features, working with other designers.
  • Identify the issues you will face, working with designers and programmers in order to solve them.

What we are looking for:

  • Studies in Game Design.
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Curiosity and ability to learn new technologies quickly.
  • Great attention to detail.
  • Experience with prototyping is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal in English.
