The role

We’re looking for a highly creative and experienced Senior Designer to join our team. In this role, you’ll primarily be producing key art creative, from initial concept through to final artwork.

About you

We’d love to chat with designers who have a minimum of three years relevant experience in this field. We want to see a strong portfolio of work that showcases your concept design innovation, technical ability, and strategic problem solving. Experience in theatre, film or the wider entertainment industry is a definite plus.

You should have

  • Exceptional knowledge of the Adobe Creative suite (strong Photoshop skills).
  • An ability to pitch ideas from initial concept stages and carry the creative through to final artwork.
  • A good understanding of typography, with a view to creating strong typographic campaigns.
  • Fluency in creating assets for both print and digital, along with a deep understanding of these two worlds, is essential.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects to tight deadlines.
  • A genuine passion for design, with a keen eye for detail and an enthusiasm for staying current with art and culture trends.
  • An understanding of how your designs will progress into animated assets and trailers.

What you’ll do

  • Design concepts and visuals with craft and consistency across a broad range of theatrical/entertainment briefs, often from script through to final concept art.
  • Prepare and present creative concepts and designs to clients, as well as manage projects, deadlines and timelines.
  • Mentor and encourage junior members of the team, providing guidance, feedback and an open space for creativity.

Salary

£ 40,000 – £50,000 (depending on experience)

Full time, in-studio position.
