Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a range of insolvency cases including liquidations, administrations, CVAs, and bankruptcies from initiation to closure.
  • Prepare statutory paperwork, legal documents, and reports in line with firm templates and regulatory requirements.
  • Draft correspondence to creditors, stakeholders, and other interested parties.
  • Liaise with agents, solicitors, banks, and financial institutions involved in the cases.
  • Conduct investigations into directors’ conduct, company affairs, and asset positions.
  • Assist with the disposal of assets, collection of debts, and distribution of funds.
  • Review financial statements, creditor claims, and asset realisation strategies.
  • Maintain accurate case records using IPS or similar insolvency software.
  • Ensure all work is completed to agreed timescales and quality standards.
  • Provide general administrative and case support to Managers, Partners, and senior team members.
  • Contribute to team development and support more complex casework as needed.

  • Work completed to required standards within agreed deadlines.
  • Documents prepared accurately and in line with firm templates.
  • Cases and files maintained in full compliance with regulatory body requirements.
  • Effective communication and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in an insolvency role managing corporate and/or personal cases.
  • Working knowledge of IPS or similar restructuring software.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with confidence in preparing reports and correspondence.
  • A proactive, solution-focused mindset with a willingness to learn and grow.
  • Progress towards or completion of the CPI qualification (or equivalent) is desirable.
