The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.
The IT Project Manager will manage the end-to-end delivery of IT Projects in line with the IT Strategic Plan. Co-ordinating cross-departmental activities and resources to bring together IT and non-IT workstreams to successfully deliver the project aims and associated benefits.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting the Head of Programme Delivery to deliver a variety of IT Projects within the portfolio – including:
- Rollout of new IT systems & solutions to BTG end-users
- Internal IT projects requiring co-ordination
- E2E Management of projects throughout the delivery lifecycle: from solution configuration, testing & rollout, adoption, and user training through to realization of benefits in the business case.
- Co-ordinating cross-departmental activities and resources to bring together all aspects of the project to deliver in line with plans and timelines.
- Managing the project status reporting and communications to ensure successful delivery of benefits of the project.
- Managing 3rd party supplier relationships and interactions as necessary to ensure the execution of activities in line with project plans and timeframes.
- Responsible for assembling project team, assigning individual responsibilities, and enforcing accountability – developing, and managing budget & schedule to ensure timely completion of project
- Work with the project team to manage schedules, budgets, assets, and overall project organization to ensure requirements and project deliverables dates are clearly communicated, understood, and executed upon
- Providing regular progress reports and managing risk / issues
- Managing any service transition from Go-Live into Business as Usual
Skills & Experience:
- Ability to drive and motivate a diverse team via matrix management
- Proven experience of working closely and successfully with technical team members
- Confidence in managing costs and commercial aspects of projects
- Working with 3rd party partners were necessary to deliver projects.
- Experience of planning and managing projects from conception to delivery
- Experience of working within an in-house IT environment
