Job Purpose
We are seeking a results-driven Head of Acquisition to lead our player acquisition strategy across paid media, affiliates, mobile, and emerging channels. With performance marketing efficiency declining and growth channels underperforming, this is a critical hire to take ownership of our UK acquisition efforts, drive improvements, and lead a team of experienced channel leads already in place. You will report to the Head of Growth & Revenue and work closely with the wider leadership team to drive player growth through strategic planning, data-driven decision-making, and effective execution.As Head of Acquisition, your broad responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Responsibilities
- Own and execute the multi-channel player acquisition strategy, with a focus on the UK online casino and bingo market
- Lead, mentor and develop a high-performing acquisition team, including the Heads of Affiliates and PPC
- Identify and implement strategies to reduce CPA, improve acquisition efficiency across all channels, and enhance overall performance.
- Develop and manage test-and-learn frameworks across Paid Social, Display, Mobile, and emerging channels
- Leverage Power BI and internal reporting tools to monitor performance, uncover growth opportunities, and drive data-informed decisionsthat optimise key metrics such as CPA, ROI, and LTV.
- Collaborate with Brand, Product,CRM, Compliance, and BI teams to ensure acquisition strategies are aligned and scalable
- Lead budget planning and forecasting for acquisition channels, ensuring spend is aligned with ROI targets
- Manage and challenge external partners and agencies to maximise value and performance
- Build structured, repeatable playbooks to scale acquisitionactivities sustainably
- Continuously test and implement new acquisition strategies and channels to stay ahead of market trends and maintain a competitive edge.
- Stay informed on the latest industry developments, competitor activities, and emerging marketing technologies.
About you:
- 5+years proven track record in a senior acquisition or performance marketing role in the UK iGaming space
- Strong track record in PPC, with deep understanding of paid search strategy and execution
- Experience managing or closely collaborating with an Affiliate Marketing team or programme
- Demonstrable knowledge of Paid Social, Mobile acquisition, and Display advertising
- Highly data-driven approach with hands-on experience using Power BI or similar tools
- Strong understanding of CAC, LTV, attribution models, and performance KPIs
- Experience leading and coaching a multi-disciplinary performance team
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong understanding of UKGC guidelines, advertising regulations, and compliance standards within the iGaming industry.
Desirable (nice to have):
- Experience launching or managing TV advertising as part of an integrated growth strategy
- Familiarity with App Store optimisation, re-engagement strategies, and mobile tracking solutions
Working model:
- Remote-first for the initial 3 to 6 months
- Role based in our Gibraltar office, with long-term flexible working arrangements available
