The Role
As a Distribution warehouse operator, you’ll help keep operations running smoothly, safely, and efficiently. Working within a supportive team, you’ll play a key part in handling stock, fulfilling orders, and ensuring products are delivered on time while maintaining high safety, quality, and hygiene standards.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts and equipment, prioritising wellbeing and following site safety and quality procedures.
- Load and unload trucks, trailers, and inbound deliveries, including refrigerated freight.
- Pick, stage, and rotate stock accurately to support timely customer deliveries.
- Maintain clean, organised warehouse and cool room environments in line with hygiene standards.
- Communicate openly with team members and partners, raising any hazards or concerns promptly.
About you
- Hold a valid forklift licence with at least 12 months’ warehouse or logistics experience.
- Care about safety, teamwork, and doing things the right way.
- Communicate openly and collaborate well with others.
- Comfortable using basic technology such as scanners, tablets, Excel, or Outlook.
