Beesley and Fildes Ltd are a well-established, trusted name in the builder’s merchant’s industry for over 200 years, operating over the North-West. We are looking for an experienced Yard Operative to join our team in our Chester branch.
What will you be doing?
- Assisting customers with selecting and loading materials
- Handling goods in and out using appropriate equipment
- Assisting with the loading and unloading of vehicles
- Upholding high standards of Safety, Cleanliness and site security

What you need:
- FLT licence (desirable)
- Previous experience in a builders merchant setting (desirable)
- Health & Safety awareness and manual handling skills
Hours: Monday – Friday 07:30am – 17:00pm. Alternate Saturdays 08:00am – 12:00pm.
Pay: This role is paid at the applicable National Minimum Wage Rate.
